The Little Colorado River (LCR) however, brings that must swim a rapid desire really into focus. Basically, the LCR water temperatures are ideal, the volume of water, the currents swiftness, and the easy access to the shores for take out makes this Grand Canyon dream, turn into an hot afternoon delight!

Water Emergency procedures are a main part of our detailed orientation while on the river. Grand Canyon Expeditions number one reaction if you do fall in the river is DO NOT PANIC, grab your PDF (lifejacket) lay back, put your feet straight out in front of you (to push off any obstructions if need be) and enjoy your ride.
